Installing virtualbox + phpVirtualBox for management on debian jessie using CLI:

I will configure phpVirtualBox on ‘/var/www’:
root@ips:~# cd /var/www/ root@ips:/var/www# wget http://heanet.dl.sourceforge.net/project/phpvirtualbox/phpvirtualbox-5.0-5.zip root@ips:/var/www# unzip phpvirtualbox-5.0-5.zip root@ips:/var/www# mv phpvirtualbox-5.0-5 vbox root@ips:/var/www# cd vbox/ root@ips:/var/www/vbox# mv config.php-example config.php
Edit file ‘config.php’ and uncomment ‘#var $noAuth = true;’
Disable auth:
root@ips:/var/www/vbox# VBoxManage setproperty websrvauthlibrary null
Installing extpack for console access:
root@ips:~# wget http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/5.0.26/Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-5.0.26-108824a.vbox-extpack root@ips:~# vboxmanage extpack install Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-5.0.26-108824a.vbox-extpack 0%...10%...20%...30%...40%...50%...60%...70%...80%...90%...100% Successfully installed "Oracle VM VirtualBox Extension Pack".
Starting ‘vboxwebsrv’ in background:
vboxwebsrv -b
Point your browser at your url/vbox (server ip address or domain) and start using phpVirtualBox. Do not forget to secure your phpVirtualBox with htpasswd.
